Accessibility Statement

Our commitment

IEP Casemate is committed to making special education case management accessible to educators with disabilities. We design and test with WCAG 2.1 Level AA as our target and work with schools to address barriers that affect staff who use assistive technology.

Conformance status

The web application is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard. We are actively improving keyboard navigation, focus management, color contrast, and screen-reader labels across core workflows (caseload, scheduling, daily checklist, and progress monitoring).

VPAT / ACR availability

Schools and districts evaluating Casemate for procurement may request a Voluntary Product Accessibility Template (VPAT) or Accessibility Conformance Report (ACR). The report covers the web application interface used by educators and administrators — not student-facing content, since Casemate is designed for staff use only.

Email privacy@iepcasemate.com with "VPAT request" in the subject line. We typically respond within five business days.

Measures we take

  • Semantic HTML and ARIA labels on interactive controls
  • Keyboard-accessible navigation for primary workflows
  • Sufficient color contrast for text and interactive elements
  • Responsive layout for common screen sizes and zoom levels
  • Manual and automated accessibility checks before releases

Known limitations

Some complex scheduling views and drag-and-drop interactions may require a mouse or pointer device today. PDF upload and preview flows depend on third-party browser capabilities. We prioritize fixes that unblock educators who rely on keyboard-only or screen-reader access.

Feedback and accommodations

If you encounter an accessibility barrier while using Casemate, please contact us at support@iepcasemate.com. Describe the page, the action you were trying to complete, and any assistive technology you use. We will work with you on a reasonable accommodation or timeline for a fix.
